ABOUT AMS ECHO
WHO WE ARE
ECHO UBC is a community of students from UBC who seek to hatch opportunities for students and fellow community members to get involved in local charity support, through volunteering to raising money for BC and Canadian charities.

We are a new club, formed almost a year ago, therefore
members are really interactive and engaged to make change and establish strong foundations and motives for our club to really take shape.
OUR MISSION
As a collective we seek to get involved in the community around us and help in ways we can, we explore as in every meeting we are planning and proposing new ideas to reach out and get involved in our community. Our club looks externally to the greater community of staff and students and locals and try to create a platform of opportunities that are open for everyone to get involved in.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
In our club we are a great community, working hard to try and promote positive change in our community in small steps. We seek not only to help local charities but also promote youth involvement whether that be on clubs day, promoting people to join our club or through our social media pages, inviting people to join us for partaking in day events!
Although we are affiliated with UBC AMS what makes us different compared to other non-profit clubs is that we are open to exploring new opportunities constantly. Our mission is so broad that we encourage members to seek and share their own goals or interests with the rest of the group. In a sense it is through our own network that opportunities are hatched among members and are shared!
ECHO CANADA
In addition to being affiliated with UBC AMS, we are affiliated with ECHO Canada, a nationally recognized organization committed to making a positive impact on local communities by advocating for the causes and issues that our members are passionate about - without any limitations, boundaries, or restrictions.
ECHO was created to help develop positive role models and advocate for causes and issues we are passionate about.
We strongly believe in transparency at all levels of the organization, providing opportunities for networking, personal growth, professional development, and leadership skills.
